INFORMATION ABOUT ADOPTING FROM BULGARIA

Introduction
Adopolis is pleased to have a program in Bulgaria with options for couples and
singles. Adopolis is now accepting applications for this program.
We work with Bulgarian organizations accredited by the Central Authority in
Bulgaria, the Ministry of Justice, to process international adoptions. These
organizations in Bulgaria will process the applications through the Ministry of Justice.
Children are 2 years and older with health conditions that vary. Special needs
children are available. They may have other heritages beside Bulgarian, such
as Turkish, Armenian, etc.
Currently the estimate waiting time from the approval granted by the Ministry
of Justice to the assignment of a child is at least 12 months. Waiting time
for special needs children, older children ad sibling groups is shorter.
Two trips are required with approximate 3 months between the first and second trip.
Fees in Bulgaria: $8,000 to 10,000
