The following information is meant to give you an overview of the services provided by Adopolis:

Pregnancy Counseling and Support Services

We counsel birth parents unable to parent a child at this time in their lives. We educate and support them to understand adoption as a possible option.

Domestic Adoption

We serve birth mothers and adoptive parents, coordinating and assisting them in their adoption decision and process.

International Adoption

We work with families throughout the United States who wish to adopt. Our polices and procedures are consistent with requirements of the Hague Convention on Inter-country Adoption. Adopolis’ Statement of Principles exists to explain clearly to all families that adoption laws and regulations vary from country to country and are based on cultural and historical customs, which may affect the approval process in a certain country.

Our Latin America programs include Colombia, Guatemala and Mexico. Adopolis has also recently opened a new program in Ukraine. We also promote adoption in these countries by families originally from or with family ties with these countries. In addition we can assist families who wish to adopt in other countries.

Education

As a parent(s)-to-be, preparation is vital whether you pursue a domestic or international adoption. Approaching the adoption experience with knowledge, optimism, and joy will always smooth the journey.

We are committed to educate families by offering counseling, support groups, community education and parenting workshops. As your child grows and learns about the world around them, Adopolis is available to help you share with your child the traditions and culture of their birth country and the joy of becoming part of your family.

We network with accredited organizations in each country. All countries care about their children but often lack essential resources and the means to provide adequately for children placed in adoption. Recognizing that many children may never be adopted because of special needs, age or unresolved legal issues, your contribution of funds and materials to Humanitarian Aid programs are part of most international programs.
