The following information is meant to give you an overview of the services provided by Adopolis:

Pregnancy Counseling and Support Services

We counsel birth parents unable to parent a child at this time in their lives. We educate and support them to consider adoption as a possible option.

Domestic Adoption

We serve birth mothers and adoptive parents, coordinating and assisting them in their adoption decision and process.

International Adoption

We work with families throughout the world who wish to adopt. Our polices and procedures are in compliance with the Hague Convention on Inter-country Adoption. Adopolis’ Statement of Principles exists to explain clearly to all families that adoption laws and regulations vary from country to country and are based on cultural and historical customs, which may affect the approval process in a certain country.

Ask us about waiting children

Adopolis will be pleased to inform you about waiting children. Usually these children are special needs, older children and sibling groups. Sometimes the special needs are manageable and treatable. Some sibling groups include children of one or both gender(s) with ages between 1year old and up.

Ask us about adoptions of orphan children related to you by blood or with a parent unable to support them.

Education

As a parent(s)-to-be, preparation is vital whether you pursue a domestic or international adoption. Approaching the adoption experience with knowledge, optimism, and joy will always smooth the journey.

We are committed to educate families by offering counseling, support groups, community education and parenting workshops. As your child grows and learns about the world around them, Adopolis is available to help you share with your child the traditions and culture of their birth country and the joy of becoming part of your family.

Humanitarian Aid

We partner with accredited organizations in each country. All countries care about their children but often lack essential resources and the means to provide adequately for children placed in adoption. Recognizing that many children may never be adopted because of special needs, age or unresolved legal issues, contribution of funds and materials to Humanitarian Aid programs are important for most international programs. Adoptive parents can join us after their adoption has been finalized to donate and participate in our Humanitarian projects.

Adopolis welcomes donors and volunteers from other organizations to sponsor our projects and services and/or to serve with us. We are providing a continuing education program to employees and foster mothers at the ICBF in Colombia to help them improve the care of the children. There are many ways to contribute and share experiences that benefit others. Please contact us.
